Beth M Boghossian founded BMB LAW GROUP to serve her clients and their legal needs with an aim toward equitable resolution and a balance of determination, wisdom, skill and heart.
For 20+ years, Beth has practiced a variety of law in various settings, from large Chicago law firms (Cozen O’Connor (Top 100) and Clausen Miller PC) to small firms and law firm principal. Areas of law include a background in insurance litigation, trying cases to verdict, followed by contested civil litigation for individuals and families (divorce and post-divorce, involving modifications, children’s issues and college contributions; probate, guardianship, will contests, contested trust administration; and personal injury, business and property matters), as well as family estate planning (wills, trusts, and powers of attorney), and business law and succession planning (set-up, service agreements, and asset/stock purchases, and business estate and succession planning). Beth hires and collaborates with other lawyers and professionals to provide the best representation and support for her clients, their legal needs and personal wishes.
Currently, BMB LAW GROUP’s practice is focused on representing clients in highly-contested family law litigation, involving divorce and post-divorce issues. BMB LAW GROUP clients are most often those who are combatting controlling or oppressive relationships and need, and deserve, persistent advocacy and holistic support.
Estate planning for families and businesses is BMB LAW GROUP’s other focus. The goal of BMB LAW GROUP and its clients is to avoid court, save unnecessary costs, gain clarity and reduce wishes to writing, before it is too late to plan.
Beth’s pro bono work includes volunteering as a Guaridan ad Litem advocate for children for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) and as a mentor to new lawyers and law students through the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Professionalism.
Beth further supports the legal profession and other professionals in wellness and work + life balance. She creates and presents Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses on mindful well-being for bar associations, legal organizations, and law firms, including: Wellness for Lawyers, Meditation: A Brain-Changer for Lawyers, Management for Lawyers: Time, Stress + Mindfulness, and Well-Being and Mindfulness for Lawyers: The Road Best Traveled (commissioned by the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA)). She further leads lawyers and other driven professionals toward balance and fulfillment with one-on-one executive coaching, as well as group programming – from bar association and other organizations’ meetings to law firm presentations and professional or personal retreats in the US and Mexico.
